Keep in mind that Twilight Princess got near-perfect scores from most early reviewers. It's only more recently that it became popular to dislike the game.

High scores from harsh reviewers does lend more credibility - but you shouldn't assign credibility to high scores because you're excited about something.

It's popular to dislike TP???

I wasn't aware that disliking TP was popular. I thought I was in the minority [not that I disliked it; I thought it was really fun and awesome. I just didn't particularly like its realism-- it didn't feel quite as fantasyish as I like].

In other news I'm going to try to not get stoked for this game because I'll have no way of owning it for a while x{D

GamesTM gave the game a 9/10.

I was expecting 10/10s across the board. Pre-order cancelled, I'll pick it up when it hits the bargain bin.

Somehow I have mixed feelings about Skyward Sword. Hopefully they'll retain some of the traditional Zelda exploration and add some new twist to it (like they did in Wind Waker, although hopefully with more dungeons than that). -CSM

Of course it is. But now all of a sudden, it's going to become more popular to dislike Skyward Sword.

Remember how, for awhile, you were not allowed to say anything positive about Wind Waker, and then all of a sudden the "Celda" haters were nowhere to be found when Twilight Princess came out?

As soon as a new Zelda comes out you are no longer permitted to hate the older ones, and all of your hate must be concentrated on the new one until another one comes out and you can admit that you actually liked it

gosh i ****ing loved the cartoony feel of wind waker and the realistic atmosphere of twilight princess but this mixed thing for skyward sword is stupid and i hate it
