Flyrule | Shag

This is an instrumental hip hop album based around OoT sampless. The guy who did this album (Shag) is one of the better posters on the Gamefaqs Rap/Hip Hop Board (and yes, I do post on the Gamefaqs Rap/Hip Hop Board. Shut up.) The album's just a nice little chill collection of beats from an up-and-coming producer who really should get more recognition (right now the most "recognition" he's gotten is a tweet from music critic Anthony Fantano). Oh, and dude's only 18. (I also suggest checking out his mixtape Sleep: A Tribute to Dilla)

So I hadn't heard of this, so I went to go listen to a few tracks, and I have to say that I wasn't a fan. Too much focus on remixing menu sounds and random Zelda sound effects into the song. I much prefer actually getting away from the random clanginess of the sound effects and going to much more natural sounding effects.
