Hmm, let's see, Mario, Banjo, Goldeneye, Zelda, All-star Baseball, NFL Blitz, Turok 2, Rogue Squadron, Wave Race, Smash Brothers, Beetle Adventure Racing, Revenge, Warzone, World Tour, BattleTanx, Diddy Kong Racing, 1080 Snowboarding, Mario Kart, San Fransisco Rush, NHL 99, and lots more. You will now strike back and name lots of good Playstation games. That's fine. The point is, those games are worth buying an N64 for.

Bull****. Zelda, Rogue, Blitz, Mario, Banjo, All-star, Revenge, Warzone, World Tour, BattleTanx, Smash Brothers and NHL 99 are not shooters or racers. And the shooter market is not overcrowded on N64.  Racers definitly are, but not shooters.

Sure there are movies. Have you ever played a game called The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time? True it's not FMV, but it is a movie. And by the way, RE64 is coming on a 64MB cart to make room for the movies. N64 can do FMV, but it's rare.

N64 prices are true but Playstation games go way above 45 bucks. And by the way, the $70 N64 prices are non-existent now.

Only if you're a really good gamer. It takes maybe 30-35 hours to complete Zelda 64. I would also like to remind you Metal Gear Solid takes 8-10 hours to beat.

I can't and won't argue that. But the greatest hits are the really good classics for N64. Only the early PSX games are on greatest hits.

Where do you get your info from? All the wrestling games, Smash Brothers, Diddy Kong Racing (controversial), and Turok 2 are multiplayer games that are truly awesome.

And that's with the bad games. Not the good games with the exception of F-Zero X.

That's like saying "NO GOLDENEYE for Sony! That really sucks because that is the best shooting game of all time." You would definitly argue against that point. What a childish statement that was. By the way, I still think either Dreamcast or Project Dolphin will win the next console war because from what I've heard, PSX2 is hard and expensive to develop for. Guess what system is easier to develop for now? That's right it's the Playstation. And who's winning the console war?  Playstation again. Besides what games does it have backing it up? And also, no company has ever won the console war two generations in a row. (The only reason Super NES won was because they kept it fueled after Sega had given up on Genesis.) ANTPSX99@aol.com--First of all, I would like to say that PSX kicks N64's ass any day. I also hate it when people say "I like N64 better because it has better graphics." That is the most stupid reason to like a system. Sure, graphics are nice to look at, but if the game sucks, why bother? Also, I don't understand why people will get the Nintendo 64 version of WWF Attitude instead if the PLayStation version. My ignorant friend says, "I am getting the N64 Attitude because it has better graphics, no load times, and better control." Well, I have to say this to my friend: "You are a dumbass! Just for a little bit better graphics, no load times, and the same contol, you are willing to make your mom spend 20 dollars more on the game? You are very spoiled!" Well, here's my comparision of PSX vs N64.

Ok, here's more than 15: Mario Kart 64, Mario 64, Smash Bros., Mario Party, Goldeneye, StarFox64, Turok 2, Space Station, Body Harvest, Zelda, Rogue Squadron, Rush, Rush2, BAR, Tetrisphere, BAM'99, ASB'00, Slugfest, Blitz, and WaveRace just to name a few. There's gonna be double that amount by Summer.

Mario 64, Smash Bros., Bosy Harvest, Silicon Valley, Zelda, Tetrisphere, Slugfest, ASB '00, Blitz. What are those? There are numerous others as well.

N64 CAN DO FMV! Wheel and Jeopardy! have it. But first take a look at cinema.  Most of the time, if the game is well-made, the cinema scenes are equal to, sometimes better, than PSX games.

Depends on where you shop. I've seen N64 and PSX new releases for $50 at Best Buy.

YOU try getting everything in 20 hours. That includes Heart Pieces and Skulltullas. On another note, N64's strong point is multi-player. Although PSX has multi-tap, very few games use it. Anyway, most multi-player matches don't last long unless you put it on Unlimited time.

Where is it $40? Not anywhere I shop (except for TRU, but that's a different story). Besides, most people already own those games.

I can name some others. Smash Bros., Turok 2, Blitz, MK4, StarFox, Rush2, BAR, and many more.

It's not the processor, but what you do with it. The N64 wasn't the best designed machine, so I'll give you that one.

Ok, so N64 may not have GT, but we do have the best Indy racing game, and World Grand Prix is just as good as GT, even it only has around 20 or so cars. (3 Points)(+2 N64)

tnstud@greene.xtn.net--Nintendo Rox. It has better controllers, they are more acccurate. They also have better first person games than Playstation. Playstation is just a clone of a PC. All the titles for playstation can probabaly be found on the PC also. N64 has NEW games. Goldeneye for example. Resident evil? PC AND PLAYStation. The reason the PC is not popular is a Playstation is a PC with the exception that u may not have to upgrade for some games. Playstations are PC clones and always will be. Plus 64's have better graphics playstation has *cough* 32 Bit and 64 has well, 64 bit. Think of the load time. 64 Does not have to load while Playstation does. AND 64 HAS BETTER picture. 64 u can use at party's 4 PLAYERS. Playstation? NO.

Nintendo 64 will always defeat the playstation (1 Point)(-1 PSX)

Alex1255@aol.com--The PSX is the best system of all time until the PSX2 comes into action, of course.  PSX sold the most units during 1996, 97, 98, and going to sell the most in 99. They also won out the software sales enormousely in 98 except a strong sales season in november for nintendo. Now, I will state my personal reasons why the PSX is better than n64.

Playstation has better sound and equal graphics.(n64 is smoother but PSX can run cinemas).

Playstation has a huge library of games and also the best ones. N64 has crap games like Dual Heroes( rated the worst game of 98 by EGM), Chameleon twist, and so on.

N64 is always delaying almost every game that comes out. e.g. Zelda(1 year), Perfect Dark(3 months), Pokemon stadium( 2months) and so on. Sony virtually never delays, even if they do, you don't notice it because they have so many games.

There are only a few decent games on N64 while there's about 30 for PSX. Zelda and goldeneye are the only two worth buying.

N64 has mostly "kiddie" games although N64 owners tries to deny it. PSX has a wide range of games from kiddie to sexual to violence to whatever you want.

Nintendo's mascot (mario) is old, weak, and dorky. Crash is cool, new, and fast.

Nintendo never delivers their promises(the 64dd, where the hell is it? I've been waiting ever since I got my 64 in october!)

PSX is cd-based which gives them a great advantage over carts because it can play FMV's, better sound, and much more memory space...96 megs. vs. 655 megs.

Playstation is the choice system for teens, while nintendo sticks to little babies.

so, "get N or get out", I'd rather get out.  Live in your world, play in ours.  Long live Sony, Playstation, and Playstation2. Die Nintendo, DIE! (3 Points)(+2 PSX)

Everybody knows that the PSX is showing its age. Read JARED BLACK's E3 REPORT! PSX only has 4 games to worship for: Dino Crisis, Final Fantasy 8, Metal Gear Solid VR, and Gran Turismo 2. That's it. Nintendo, however, has Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong 64, Earthbound 64, WWF Attitude, NFL Blitz '2000, Jet Force Gemini, Poke'mon Games, and Banjo-Tooie behind it. Rare simply proves to be making MORE money than Squaresoft these days. PSX owners, I warn you, the PSX WILL HAVE THE BEST TO COME, but only 4 of them. After that, get ready to suffer with horrible games. I recommend that you give Nintendo a chance since their system still has around 2 years ahead of it. Most of you think that the N64 is childish, but at least it DID NOT AFFECT the shooting at schools (e.g. Columbine High), as PSX did. Choose wisely, as the Dolphin, PSX2, and the Dreamcast come into vision. Nintendo WILL turn things around. That's a promise! (2 Points)(+1 N64)

RoadDogDan@aol.com--1st, I would to say, if you think that PSX sucks, your either jealous you don't have one or are not a true gamer. If you say N64 sucks, then you haven't seen previews or reviews of thier games. Most of the scores are higher than 7.0. You shouldn't say a damn thing about DC, since it hasn't come out and most of you don't know what DC stands for at first. then again, you can't diss a PC, your using one right now while typing, unless, like DANMONEY, are using web TV and being cheap.  I'm not rippin of any system, only defending them.
