megaspider@yahoo.com--I would like to respond to ANTPSX99's message. (1)Why would want a game without good graphics? If you play a game with bad graphics, it is almost impossible to see the guy(or gal) that you are controlling. One item looks like a certain type of item when, in fact, it is an item that you really don't want at this point in time. (2)I can't really argue much about the sound. Both systems have a moderate sound system. But I'd set it on stereo if I were you. (3)Is more buttons really better? It can get rather confusing. I doubt even you can remember what button did what move after a while. (4)Accessories.
Oh, accessories. Sure PSX might have more accessories but are they
good. Ya, give me a break. More, but less quality and reason. (5)By quantity I guess you in games, right? Oh ya, that 200 games compared to 120. Do these 200 games include Elmo's Math Adventure? Puh-lease! What percentage of those games are good? .05%? Compare that with Goldeneye, Banjo-Kazooie, Triple Play 2000, Super Smash Brothers, Wave Race, Beetle Adventure Racing, Space Station:Silicon Valley, Turok 2, Star Fox, Blitz, Revenge, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Kart 64, FIFA 64, FIFA:Road to the World Cup, and the all-time great The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time(that's more than 15 isn't it DANMONEY?). (6)The N64 has quality. Look at games I listed above. Those are good quality games. Do you call Elmo's Math Adventure quality? I think not. Oh, excuse me, you must be a Sesame Street fan. (7)What do you base this price thing on anyway? "Oh look, that game came a year ago. It's only $20. That N64 game, Beetle Adventure Racing, is $50. N64 games are way more expensive." You're probably going to come back with, "Well new PSX games are cheap to." Do you think the game is cheap because it rocks? No! It's cheap because it sucks and Sony wants to sell it. They know that the only way to sell the product is to make to it cheap. (8)I really don't know what you're getting at with the next two topics. I don't get the point you're trying to make so I'm skipping them. (9)You're overall ratings aren't that accurate. N64 deserves a 10 or at least a 9.5. PSX? It's overrated. An 8 or 7.5 would have suited it just fine. And, if you want be exact(9.333333333333333) the N64 got a 7.1 according to your ratings. and your 9.3333333333333 thing isn't accurate either. You make it look like it ends. It doesn't. You should put 9.333...(that means 9.3 to infinity). (10)Do some more studying PSX fan. N64 put away PSX a long time ago. Get over it. Admit it PSX is old. Too old. It was created in the Ice Age or at least the Disco Age. This is the 90's. snowboarding and the list can go on and on and on..... 2nd He is mentally challanged. The rest of his comments were so stupid they made no sense about why N64 sucks. 2.I am going to show where both Playstation and N64 shine and stink. I am not going to put up a huge rating chart because theyre done too much and nobody even reads them(well if youve gotten this far in my letter id be surprised) N64-Shines 1.Great graphics 2.No loading time 3.Not a lot of games but quality games 4.Expansion pak 5.Great controllers that dont give me a flashback to NES(Playstation) 6.A wider variety of games N64-Stinks 1.Huge game delays 2.Broken Promises(Certain games and 64dd) 3.Sorry psxers but thats about all I can find PSX-Shines 1.CD quality 2.Huge amount of games PSX-Stinks 1.Huge load time 2.Seems most games are either racing or a weird a*s adventure type game 3.Outdated 4.Games that look great at first but really look more like a 1992 pc game And my views on Dreamcast are first off it is looking great in previews ive seen and the features are extraordinary (200mhz processer, yamaha sound system and best of all a partnership with microsoft) It already has a huge lineup of games coming out. But i have not heard any dates on when it is coming out so it seems like a bunch of hype but it has been the top seller in japan and will probably here too. I have not heard about this project dolphin stuff until today so i cant say anything about it PSX2 sounds like a system made out of dog crap. Its games will take so long to develop games will take forever to put out and then to get a profit charge a huge amount of money (im gonna guess around $70-$90) So

The biggest cartridge was 32MB. And, let's take a look at Zelda and FF7. Zelda: 32MB. FF7:Around 1GB. Arguably equal games. By the way, I think that Project Dolphin will the next console war, and it'll be a tossup between the DC and the PSX2. I still think, however, PSX2, will fall flat on it's behind. DC will have had a strong userbase and their kickbutt games out before PD and PSX2 come. PD will win, and PSX2 will battle it out with the DC with a winner emerging soon. Of course, it is really hard to speculate the future. Also, I would like to stress something. Anybody who says: "that system sucks" means they're probably uninformed. I understand if it's something like the 3D0, but Nintendo, for example, is number two in the market right now. A system cannot suck and be number two. Same with Playstation. A system that's survived and has had great games for about two years cannot suck. Even the PSX2, which I think will fail, will probably have great games on it and will be a worthy buy. A leading system does not suck because if it did it would not be a leading system. Whenever I see "PSX sucks" or "N64 sucks" I don't really bother to listen seriously. Also, to any of you who think I hate PSX, let me stress this also. I LIKE THE PSX. IT IS A GOOD SYSTEM. THE AIM OF MY WAR DEPARTMENT ENTRIES ARE TO PUT UP THE N64, NOT TO PUT DOWN THE PSX. Also, Nintendo's slightly less mature image is partly in response to filthy PSX's sex, drugs and violence image and partly to get younger gamers that will become Nintendo loyalists now. This means that Project Dolphin will be destroying PS2K, if Dreamcast doesn't do it first. Nintendo has a lot of experience in the gaming industry and one solid system hasn't convinced me that Sony will be a staying force in the industry. I get the feeling that the second Sony system will sell a lot at first; all the PSX loyalists will buy it, then I will laugh as it falls into an early death. I'll stop me ranting now. Goodnight.
