HAPPY NEW YEAR
January 1, 2001

We hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year's. 2000 was a great year for VGF, but we are not going to rest on our laurels. Over the course of the year, we expect to go through some changes for the better.

You'll notice some a variety of differences, both major and minor. Some of the new goings on include:

• With the impending launch of the Xbox, VGF will soon be launching Xbox Gamers First, a site focused specifically on Microsoft's upcoming console.
• We also expect that very soon we will be relaunching PokemOnline Network, in hopes of bringing you the most comprehensive Pokemon coverage on the net. As many Pokemon fans may know, PON has some of the net's top Pokemon sites already.
• We will also restart regular updates of VGF Codes to satisfy all your code and cheat needs.

Of course, we know that focusing on what's gotten us here is still important, too. As such, we will continue to bring you regular content... in fact, we plan to expand beyond current content offerings by increasing coverage and increasing interactivity - letting your voice be heard. We will also continue to make VGF Forums one of the most active and vocal gaming forums around. Additionally, we will continue to be one of the few, if not the only, networks that still provides both a revenue source and hosting for affiliates.

Now that we've survived Y2K, here's to a great Y2K1. We look forward to continuing to serve your gaming needs.
