MIDWAY SIGNS DEAL WITH KOEI

Midway today announced a distribution agreement with Koei. Under terms of the agreement, Koei will become the exclusive distributor of selected Midway games in the Far East, including Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India.

Koei is the number one PC publisher in Japan, with popular titles including Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Nobunaga's Ambition, Uncharted Waters, and Winning Post. The company has also had success publishing for the PlayStation 2. Kessen was the number two PS2 title last spring and has remained a top-selling title in Japan. Dynasty Warriors 2 was a top 10 title in all territories.

The first Midway titles distributed by Koei are expected to be Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2, NBA Hoopz, and Gauntlet Dark Legacy.
