RUGRATS GAMES TOP $100 MILLION
October 9, 2000

The Rugrats video game franchise now exceeds $100 million at retail, placing it among the strongest kids' franchises available. THQ also announced that the company is the #1 publisher in the children's game category, with 48% of total children's game sales according to NPD TRST data.

"Our first game developed especially for kids, 'Rugrats Search for Reptar' for PlayStation, helped pave the way for the kids' video game market on PlayStation back in November of 1998," stated Alison Locke, Executive Vice President, North American Publishing, THQ. "Since then, we have built a comprehensive library of childrens' video games, that includes Scooby-Doo, Power Rangers, 'The Little Mermaid' as well as an extensive line of Rugrats adventures including three more for the 2000 holiday season."
