the Datel developed, and GameShark branded, game enhancers
have become the most popular cheat device in North America
selling in excess of 4 million units. Datel will begin distributing
the products itself under the Action Replay brand.
The following is the list of products the company
plans to release in December:
- Action Replay GCN - $39.99
- Action Replay PSone - $14.99
- Action Replay PS2 w/8MB memory card - $39.99

And in January:
- Action Replay GBA - $19.99
Action Replay will be available for Xbox next month in Europe,
but no mention of a US release was made in today's announcement.
All Action Replay codes will be 100% compatible
with GameShark 2 ones, and it is also backward compatible
with SharkPort and SharkBoard.
"Although our relationship with InterAct has
ended, we continue on with the technology, creative talent
and manufacturing expertise to expand on what we started a
number of years ago," says Mike Connors, Managing Director
of Datel Electronics, LTD. "We look to the future with great
excitement and a commitment to continue building next generation
products that will further enhance the gaming experience."
