KUJU TO DEVELOP WARHAMMER 40K PS2
May 13, 2002

Kuju Entertainment has announced a deal with THQ to develop Warhammer 40,000 for the PS2. To secure this deal, Kuju had to beat out approximately 30 other companies.

Ian Baverstock, Business Development Director of Kuju Entertainment enthused, "We're honoured that THQ has chosen us from so many potential developers to work on what is obviously an incredibly high profile game. The whole company's thrilled to be working with the Warhammer 40,000 licence - it's an exciting opportunity for us to show exactly what we're capable of."

Grant Dean, Director of European Product Development at THQ, added, "When we announced late last year that we were searching for a developer for the Warhammer 40,000 project we had no idea we'd get the response that we did. With the sheer amount of development talent out there, we found Kuju Entertainment stood head and shoulders above the rest. The company's appreciation of the Warhammer 40,000 world, and vision and understanding of how to maximise its potential on the PlayStation 2 made it an easy choice for this exciting project. We're very much looking forward to working with Kuju on realising its vision and creating a game that challenges experienced Warhammer 40,000 fans while being open enough for newcomers."
