LUCAS ARTS DOLPHIN
January 3, 2000
In the Career Opportunities section of the LucasArts
website, there is a listing for "Senior Nintendo Programmer." Exploring
this listing shows one of the major responsibilities of the position
as developing "games for the next generation Nintendo console."
Is LucasArts not telling the public something that is quite obvious
on their site?
Many people think this is a giant hoax, and George
Lucas does have money to burn, but let's be reasonable. Lucas probably
doesn't know what games to expect for the next-generation Nintendo
console, but just what would a game like Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer
look like on a 256 bit Nintendo system?
Moreover, just think about the possibility of LucasArts/Nintendo
making Episode II games for the Dolphin. That would be extremely
interesting.
