UBI DOLPHIN
November 2, 1999
It turns out that Ubi Soft's Tarzan and Batman
won't only be coming out on the PlayStation. A Dolphin release
is definitely good news to Nintendo fans. Both of these games
will be fullly original 3D titles.
The backing of these 2 hot licenses should be
a big boost to Nintendo's Dolphin lineup. With the N64, Nintendo
had trouble getting backing from any developers because it
was cartridge-based. However, this early announcement shows
that due to the improved format (DVD), Dolphin has more potential
and thus will get more developers to take an interest (meaning
more games for gamers.
Batman will have gamers trying to solve the
secret behind the Joker's death, a unique twist on the Batman
property. Tarzan's primary goal (we all know the story) will
be to bring the jungle to life, and the increased power of
the Dolphin should easily, in that respect, make it far better
than the PlayStation games.
