WILD WILD RACING SHIPS

Interplay's first PlayStation 2 title, Wild Wild Racing, will begin shipping today. Developed by Rage Software exclusively for the PS2, Wild Wild Racing is an all-terrain vehicle game that takes place in various countries.

"We are very excited to have Wild Wild Racing shipping at the PlayStation 2 launch," said Brian Fargo, CEO of Interplay Entertainment. "Wild Wild Racing takes advantage of the advanced capabilities of the PlayStation 2 and furthers our commitment to develop and publish great console product."

Wild Wild Racing will feature five race locations: USA, India, Iceland, Mexico, and Australia and features varied weather conditions, as well as, day and evening racing.

The game also features exhibition races and time trial modes, along with new challenge modes including "Quest," "Skill," and "Stunt" modes.
