--Konga Beat now comes with an onscreen rhythm guide, & it slows down scrolling stages to reduce suicides.
--Hand Slap can now be used in the air.
--DK's attacks are overall faster, with the tradeoff of his throws being slightly weaker.

--The Waft now maintains its charge between lives.

--Doc is back, & he has a Final Smash now.
--Doc is also now far less mobile than Mario, but still stronger.

Interesting that you say the Tornado is from Super Mario World. I'm guessing you're basing that off of the spin jump in SMW? I always just figured that was a Smash Bros. original.

^The cape spin, actually; they got 2 attacks out of that.
