Does anyone want Yogscast-themed Awesomenauts characters? I don't do MOBAs.

I've also got an expansion for NASCAR Heat 2, lol

Welp. Guess there was bound to be a month that completely missed eventually.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III
Tomb Raider (2013) - A solid attempt to take its subgenre back from Uncharted. Shame they ruined the sequel by making it a giant advertisement for microtransactions, but this is still a decent time.
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition - A Hong Kong PD thriller that's undeniably derivative, but also way better than it has any right to be. Some of the DLC you get from the definitive edition is pretty cool.
Hiveswap: Act 1 - I think this is Homestuck? Claimed by someone IRL as I was writing this
Mr. Shifty - Screenshots look like Hotline Miami-style gameplay. No idea if that's accurate.
Cursed Castilla - Looks to be going for Ghosts 'n Goblins

I also got Quantum Break and The Long Dark, which I'd probably play eventually, but am willing to part with if someone else is really into them.

Next month has Civilization VI. I think I can keep the DLC keys and still give away the base game, so feel free to claim that in advance. It'll be just in time for the first expansion.

Quick question—how does Steam Link work? And what controllers work with it?

It's basically just a streaming box as I understand it. I've heard the quality can be iffy over wifi depending on your router.

Seems to be compatible with basically every controller: http://steam.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_com ... Steam_Link

So does it still use the processing power of your computer, rather than anything internal?

I assume they've got some internal optimizations to make it perform better than screencasting with a Chromecast or some such, but no, I don't think it does anything for the game itself. That's what they were hoping Steam Boxes would do, but no one bought them.

All right. I’m mostly curious because my laptop is trash, and Steam Links go on sale for $5 every now and again.

Yeah, you're probably not going to get any local power for much less than what a regular PC would cost you. There are some companies that make external GPUs, but they're still a minimum of like $500 and only run on Thunderbolt ports, which aren't common.

There are a handful of services that do cloud gaming if that's what you're looking for. GameFly has something that's been in beta for eternity, but you need specific TVs or a Fire stick, and I don't know how much effort they could've put into it when their games list cuts off at "G". PS Now is more accessible (it can go to PCs as well), but you're limited to a selection of PS3/4 games and they do some weird thing where you can either subscribe monthly or pay legitimately insane rates to rent games. Also ran into something could LiquidSky while looking those up, but I hadn't heard of them until just now, and they make some *very* bold claims. Not sure what's going on with that one.

There's some new indie service that works like Netflix called Jump. Seems decent.

I haven't heard of most of those games, but I do recognize a couple that I would say warrant at least a trial. Worth keeping an eye on.
