What's your personal fitness regimen?

Most of us at VGF aren't really athletes or sporty people. But what do you guys do to keep in shape or keep healthy?

Personally, I'm a big fan of playing pick-up games of whatever. It keeps me active but it also keeps me distracted from the fact that I'm actually working out. Ultimate Frisbee is a big one for me, I'm really into that.

Other than that, I like doing outdoors work like gardening and landscaping. And the only time I really get to read books is when I'm on an exercise bike or elliptical, so I do that once or twice a week in my school's fitness center. I'm currently reading Catching Fire.

I tie pebbles to my fingers with rubber bands to give them more of a workout when I type.

I jog on a treadmill with astounding irregularity. Sometimes I'll go three times a week like I should, other times I'll go a few weeks without jogging at all.

I don't do much organised sport these days due to time constraints, but I manage to walk around the local lake at least five times a week and every so often I still do my tai chi. Hmmm I should find out if there are classes that fit into my schedule now... thanks for the reminder!! :D

Oh boy.

I workout roughly 6 times a week. Most of it consists of lifting weights, other days it's swimming/running/high intensity cardio.

This is my personal training regimen

Monday : Back and Biceps
Tuesday : Swimming
Wednesday : Chest and Abs
Thursday : 3 mile run + swimming
Friday : Shoulders
Saturday : Legs

It tends to change every now and again, but I just make sure I check what I eat (No fried foods, eat whole foods, no sugary juices/soda/alcohal)

I've always loved being in the weightroom, so it's never been a hassle for me to go and workout.

I lift weights and throw in some ab exercises 2-3 times a week, and then I play basketball or volleyball a few times a month.

Whenever it's actually nice outside my roommate and I go hiking [since we live at the foot of a pretty hill that is a GREAT workout to climb]

however it is not actually nice enough to warrant hiking very often so we usually just use the free workout equipment at our unit which is less fun

I try to run 4-5 times a week, usually 3-5 miles each time, although I've run as little as 2 miles and as much as 10. This week was the exception because I was sick. -CSM

Well,I am here and read out all the posts about the personal fitness according
to me that we should be take care of the fitness issues.Exercise work and
sports are the best way for keep fitness of the body....

I golf, I walk/jog/run on the treadmill or the elliptical, and I've even taught myself how to play tennis. What I'd like to do next is learn how to defend myself with a sword. For real.

My life is pretty physically demanding, considering not only my job but also the fact that I often have to run to a bus stop with a backpack.

Other than that, I go for walks when the weather's nice, or ride on our stationery bike whenever I remember.

i walk around 7 miles a day i guess??? I used to also be very into martial arts.
