Stupid shoe question

Post by toryvdesh » Sun Sep 09, 2012 5:21 am

Are running shoes the same as normal sneakers or tennis shoes? I use a pair of tennis shoes on my daily morning fitness jog but a friend keeps recommending proper running shoes. Are there any benefits of wearing the shoes?

Not only is there absolutely a benefit to having shoes just for running, you also have to replace your running shoes every six months or so. This is especially true if your feet are not built for running, like mine aren't. I actually have to wear orthodics in my shoes. -CSM
