The Astros are a very fun team to check out this year. They're definitely a team I'd like to see go all the way this year.[DOUBLEPOST=1499470318,1499470273][/DOUBLEPOST]
What hashtag?
They could use some stability in their rotation, though. Very few guys making it to six innings over the last three weeks.

Never even saw it.

Who you got playing in the ALCS and NLCS?
Posted: Sun Jul 09, 2017 5:03 pm
The Astros already have 9 more wins than they managed in 2013.

And they have 19 more runs than they had at the beginning of today.[DOUBLEPOST=1499638391,1499638226][/DOUBLEPOST]
Who you got playing in the ALCS and NLCS?
I'm not sure how the bracketing would work, but I'd predict Indians vs. Astros in the ALCS, and Dodgers vs. Nationals in the NLCS.
I'd love to see the Tigers or Brewers in there, but I just don't think that'll happen. The Brewers definitely have a shot, but they're still kinda young. But if the Nats do the typical DC Sports second-round exit, maybe we'll see the Brew Crew in there.

My early predictions are Houston and New York in the AL, Los Angeles and Washington in the NL.

Maybe Indians-Astros for ALCS?

I could easily see either Cleveland or New York, but Houston is my lock. NL is a little more open, mostly because of Kershaw's history in October.[DOUBLEPOST=1499822290,1499822141][/DOUBLEPOST]Joe Maddon having to go on national television to talk about why the Cubs suck while Yadier Molina hits a home run is the highlight of all the sports I've ever watched.

Today Deadspin dot com called the Cubs worse than the Cardinals.
We did it, @CaptHayfever. We've finally made it.

And it's sweet, sweet, sweet victory... yeah
It's ours for the taking
It's ours for the fight
Sweet, sweet, sweet victory... yeah
And the one who's last to fall
The winner takes all
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

both of those teams suck, it's all about the First Place Milwaukee Brewers

The NL Central is ridiculously up for grabs this year. And no matter who wins it, they will very likely be bounced in the first round.
As much as it pains me to support an LA team, I think Kershaw is possibly the most marketable figure in the sport right now, and he needs a ring.

^ It's okay, because *extremely Joe Buck voice* DID YOU KNOW THAT CLAYTON KERSHAW IS FRIENDS WITH MATTHEW STAFFORD? THEY PLAYED LITTLE LEAGUE TOGETHER! LET'S LOOK AT SOME PICTURES

As long as Ryan Braun is a Brewer, that team can sit on a cactus.
I do love Bob Uecker though.

to be fair pretty much everybody in milwaukee **** hates braun and wants him gone at this point too

I like my mariners

Watching Cardinals games anymore seems like an act of self-flagellation. This team is just not enjoyable.

^We're in the same boat on that one. I might start watching the Diamondbacks more just to see how many home runs JD can hit.
