The St. Louis Blues have been eliminate 4-3.
@Glux gets 1 point for #of games

I am nobody: 17 points
Glux: 15 points
Pan Fan: 13 points
Gumchum: 9 points

To win:
I am nobody needs the Championship to go to 7 games, and TB to lose Game 7. If TB wins tonight, and the Champ goes less than 7, he will tie with Pan Fan.
Glux needs TB to lose Game 7, and the Championship to end in 6.
Pan Fan needs TB to win Game 7, and the Championship to go to Game 7. If TB wins tonight, and the Champ goes less than 7, he will tie with I am nobody.
Gumchum needs to go back in time and fix all of his bad picks.

I should note: These scenarios already take into account the fact that TB/PIT are playing 7 games.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have won the Stanley Cup.
@Gumchum and @Glux get points for # of games.

@I am nobody : 17 points
Glux : 17 points
@Classic Panfan : 13 points
Gumchum: 11 points

Well... it's a tie...

"Maybe I can make a tiebreaker out of correct picks?"
*Glux has 13*
*I am nobody has 13*
"Well that's not going to work."

If we go by the amount of teams picked correctly, I am nobody wins with 8 correct picks.

Who's hyped for hockey in Vegas?!

I pray they name the new team the "Knights".

Vegas Knights
It's perfect.

Speaking of Vegas...

That Las Vegas got a team before Quebec City, Seattle, Milwaukee or really any city that actually has a dedicated hockey following is criminal.

Well, if that isn't the most condensed bracket pick I've ever seen...
Well done, Sir.

I really hope Washington comes out of this alive...

I'll be very sad if Washington gets bounced in the second round again. But I don't see how they could possibly win 4 out of the next 5 games.

Lots of people hate Washington, I think they deserve to finally win a Cup. Ovie needs one.

^Agreed. But...going 0-2 to Pittsburgh is not a great portent for this time around.

It's not, but we've seen things happen.

In fact, I just had a post come up today about a LAK being down 0-3 to San Jose (not exactly Pittsburgh, but...) and coming back to win 4-3.

Is that the only time in any of the Big 4 Leagues that a team has overcome a 3-0 deficit? I know it's never happened in the NBA, and I'm fairly certain it hasn't happened in the MLB.

The Red Sox came back from 3-0 down in the ALCS to the Yankees when they won it all in 2004. That was the first time it had happened in MLB, and I'm pretty sure it hasn't happened since.
