Colombia 3-0 Greece

Only saw the highlights. Not much to say.

Uruguay 1-3 Costa Rica

Costa Rica gets its 4th WC win ever over 2010's 4th place team. Their 2nd and 3rd goals were fantastic.

Switzerland 2-1 Ecuador

Switzerland won at 92:37 after Ecuador fumbled a shot at the other end. Best minute of the tournament.

France 3-0 Honduras

Honduras got the second red, but the first one to come with meaningful time left.

Argentina 2-1 Bosnia Herzegovina

The difference was an early Bosnian own goal. Somewhat worrying from another one of the favorites.

Hell yeah, Germany is looking good. Good news for the US too, since Pepe's red card will keep him out of the Portugal v. US game.

WOW, 4-0. And Thomas Muller with a hat trick.

Just being overly optimistic, but we gotta hope Ghana don't blow anyone else out. I'm thinking goal differentials here...

Germany 4-0 Portugal as Bolt has already said.

Totally dominant performance from Germany. They become the first ever team to have a streak of 4 WC openers with 4+ goals, and give Portugal their largest ever WC defeat in the process. Portugal also lose Pepe to a pointless red in the first half and may have suffered two injuries as well. Not looking good for them.

Eh? They've got Hazard and Courtois this year. Easy favorites to make it out of the group; possibly even further.

Haha, I'm not into soccer (or football) at all. It's not because I live in Belgium I have to support them, right? :P

So awesome. They just need to at least tie against Portugal and they have a good shot of advancing.

Belgium 2-1 Algeria

I couldn't stay for the second half, but the first was worrying for Belgium.

Brazil 0-0 Mexico

Would've been a demolition on the level of the Dutch or Germans if not for an absolutely brilliant night in goal by Mexico's Ochoa. A few shots near the end could easily have even won the game for them.
