Super Bowl 2014

Post by Calamity Panfan » Fri Jan 31, 2014 8:57 pm

We're two days away from the most important day in football and television. So let's talk about it, whether you're watching because you're a football fan, because you like to see all the commercials, or you just think Bruno Mars is a total dreamboat.

I'd like Seattle to win but even with DAT DEFENSE I think Peyton has too many weapons in Denver for the defense to do that much.
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

They're both great teams, but even with their killer defense and Sherman, I think the Broncos will come out on top.

I'm pulling for the Broncos. I like Peyton Manning, and the Broncos have kinda been my second favorite team since they got Von Miller. Welker's cool too.

Pulling for Seattle and my fellow Badger Russell Wilson to win... but Denver is really good and stuff so yeah. But they have Montee Ball, so no matter which team wins, a former Badger wins.

I'm extra excited for this year's Super Bowl because the party is being hosted at the Seminary as part of my class's visit. It's gonna be a blasty-blast.

Also, Broncos.

We're having a big Super Bowl party at work in our theatre. It's going to be rad.

I watch the Superbowl for the football (my parents watch it for the commercials). Since I'm a 49ers fan, I'm pulling for the Broncos, plus I want that guy who got the Seahawk Superbowl XLVIII champions tattoo in August to regret getting that ink.

I don't care about professional football. I'll be flipping between the Puppy Bowl and the Kitten Bowl, as a result.

I also have to work tomorrow. I can't imagine business will be too frequent.

Here's a poem I wrote:

Three Rings for the Redskin-Kings, under the sky
Four for the Giant-lords, in their halls of stone
Five for mortal Nines, doomed to die
One for the Seahawks on their dark throne

Either you forgot the Steelers with 6, or you left them out on purpose :3

No one had 7; Giants seemed to fit the line.
Niners don't have the most, but they fit thematically with the line about nine. Also I like it that they're doomed to die. </bias>
