VGF Fantasy Football?

Post by March » Mon Aug 17, 2015 8:59 pm

Y'all,

I've been wanting to try and do this for a while now, and we might have enough people this year...

Let me know if you're interested in doing fantasy football this year. We'd need to have at least 8 teams to make it worthwhile. I can also toss a prize in to make it more appealing.

1. March
2. Panfan
3. You?

If we can get 8 people by the end of the month, then we'll do it.

Playing Fantasy Football for the first time this year. Being mad about garbage time touchdowns is a new experience.

Not sure I'd play again after that.

I lost a game a couple of years ago because Darren McFadden THREW FOR A TOUCHDOWN. Let that sink in.

Jordan Matthews and Darren Sproles came through in the clutch for me last week, I was down by 20 points going into Monday night.

It seems like this has turned into a de facto commiseration/celebration topic for FF. I'm ok with this.

I actually won my first week. Projected to win this week, but the line shifted from 16.5 in my favor to 1 after Anderson gave me nothing and I benched Alshon Jeffrey after he hurt himself again.

My first 3 picks were Eddie Lacy, CJ Anderson, and Alshon Jeffrey. They may combine for 2 points this week.

I went into this GB vs SEA game down 4 points with Wilson, Lacy, and Brandon Marshall left to play. My opponent still had Vinatieri. I could lose this.[DOUBLEPOST=1442801849,1442801567][/DOUBLEPOST]To be fair, I didn't start Jefferson, and Sammy Watkins scored, so ok I guess.

Sammy Watkins, Martavis Bryant, and Alshon Jeffrey may all sit the same week Brandon Marshall is on bye week. I'm sad.

I don't know whether to start Martavis Bryant in a possible shoot-out with the Bengals, or Stefon Diggs against a crappy Bears D.

Tough to call. Vikings might commit to running the ball. Bryant seens to be only good for the home run ball though.

I lost Ingram and was forced to start both Lacy and Starks. Things went nicely.
