^I coped by growing a thick pelt of fur all over my body and gaining a taste for human flesh. Not sure that's for everybody, but it keeps me Wendi-goin'.

Eh, snow isn't that bad. I'm sure it sucks if you have to wade through it, but walking on top of snow isn't all that bad so long as your shoes are thick enough. It's better than slipping on slippery sidewalks, at least.

We don't know how to deal with the cold in Houston. All the schools closed for a couple days this week. Had a few hundred car accidents around town.

I imagine we'll forsake our cars for horses that handle better on the frozen terrain. In an emergency, you can even cut them open and crawl inside for warmth while you await rescue.

^Works right up until the horse freezes into a hard shell around you in the middle of the night, and your rescuers have to snap poor old Trigger in half like a twin-pop to get you out. Even in the best-case scenario, your coat's gonna be all yucky afterwards.

And seriously---------horses? Not, say, samoyeds and sleds? Best of luck, man.

Snow's fine, it's ice (and the occasional below-zero wind chill) I can't stand.
