One Credit Contest #23: Galaga (Arcade)

Hello and welcome to the One Credit Contest!! It's a competition to see who can get the farthest in a game on a single credit. Our game this week, chosen by Booyakasha, is Galaga, arcade version!



The rules:

-Arcade version only. Any original, non-bootleg, non-romhack version is acceptable (including any 20th anniversary Ms. Pac-Man combo versions, etc.)
-Default settings. No fast bullets or anything. Autofire is fine.
-No cheats, cheat devices, or passwords
-No save states, slowdowns or other emulator tools
-Real hardware or emulation are both acceptable

I will maintain a leader board in this post, and about two weeks from now the winner will be decided. Progress is determined by stage reached, then score. The winner gets to choose our next game.

As always, simply participating will add to your overall rank! So even if you don't think you have a chance at the top, be sure to get an entry or two in!

Well, I remember liking it more in arcades. Keyboard isn't really a good controller method for this game either. I only gave it one half-assed attempt, might try again later.
