Save Cid or kill Cid?

Cid's survival has zero real impact on the rest of the game. So... do you prefer to save him, or let him die?

I've had a habit of trying to save him in the past, but that might change the next time I play the game, seeing how if he lives you miss out on one of the best cutscenes in the game.

I don't remember this being in the game. I never finished Kefka's Tower because it was hard and boring but I don't see why I'd miss this. Is it an optional scene?

It's mandatory, and occurs at the very beginning of the World of Ruin.

I see. Well, it has been a while since I have played it. Over a decade, probably. Maybe I will give it another run some day, but I feel like it is getting a remake soon.

I saved him last time, but next time I'm gonna let him die so that I can see that great Celes cutscene.

Same, but I would've saved him if I knew how. It's funny that you still learn something new about these old games every day.

I generally try to save him, but fail. I have a 50/50 success rate.
