Something great.

Tatran - Shore

Excellent vibe jazz fusion with, wouldn't ya know it, next- level drumming. Lots of personality. This one is very groovey and melodic and the snare tone is just... perfecto.

Lil Uzi Vert - Money Longer (Instrumental)

I love this beat, but Uzi is annoying. Therefore, instrumental version.

Minus the Bear - Last Kiss

Mature songwriting and a catalyzation of all the arctic chill of their previous grooves into one, solid, instantly memorable statement? Yep. Sign me up, Minus the Bear, this has me hyped.

Girls' Generation-TTS - Only U

This song reminds me so much of "So Sick" by Ne-Yo. Even down to the fact that Seohyun wrote the lyrics for "Only U" while vacationing in the Swiss Alps and the music video for "So Sick" was shot in the mountains.

The Mars Volta - Teflon

Thomas Pridgen's admittedly, uh, intense rudiments-n-power assault is a little alienating for some people, including fans of Jon Theodore's more Bonham-esque push-and-pull stuff, but man, give this guy some credit. The groove on this one is so off-kilter, but it falls right into its intended spaces and makes the whole tune lurch and sway, pushing that gurgling bass crunch up front where it needs to be to set the obsidian foundation of this song's sinister atmosphere. Much love to this era of Volta. It wasn't a perfect fit, but that challenging dynamic produced very cool results.

Bonus:

Childish Gambino - Redbone

This tune plays in the opening of Get Out and tbh it may be the no. 1 vibiest thing I've been hit with on theater speakers maybe ever. So cool. 'Bino killed this track with such swagger than it's no wonder he's on this world-conquering hot streak.
