Talk Talk - Ascension Day

Mark Hollis apparently died. It hasn't hit me like other musician deaths have recently, because despite loving his music Hollis has been out of the public eye for some time now. But what a hell of a career. The band really went from making standard new wave stuff to becoming one of the most influential, pioneering experimental rock acts ever. Their journey as a band is damn near unparalleled. Hollis is a man who's partially responsible for both a top 10 hit from No Doubt and the entire existence of Godspeed You! Black Emperor. That's incredible s***. RIP.

"Broke boi, broke boi, broke boi, broke boi, broke boi
Broke boi, broke boi, broke boi, broke boi, broke boi, ay"

With lyrical content like this, who needs a producer?

i will not accept playboi carti slander in this thread

Blu & Oh No (feat. Donel Smokes) - Straight No Chaser

Album so far is a little too rappity rap for my tastes but it's nice to hear Blu sound inspired again.

I've been listening to 'Not in Nottingham' a lot last couple days.

It's sad, and apt, and I like it.

@Bomby I don't know what it is but I get the vaguest impression you maybe sort of like this Playboi Carti music...

Somewhere in the background, I can hear AI voice acting. (I was told, "I have to do lines, babe," to which I very maturely replied with hysterical laughter because HA HA DRUG REFERENCE PINNACLE OF HUMOUR SECOND ONLY TO SEX AND/OR GENITAL REFERENCE) I have been on a Daughter kick for, like, two weeks, though. "Doing The Right Thing", "Youth", "Burn It Down", and "Medicine" are my favourite tracks. Gimme that good-good depressive music feels, oh yeah.

This song plays every night without fail at my store.

...it's alright. Rather hear it then anything by Imagine Dragons.
