Pretty sure we're all in agreement, for one reason or another, that this is a bad law.
But seriously, fellow white people, stop saying/typing/quoting the n-word.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Verdict came in with an $1100 fine. Better than jail time, though hardly a victory. He created a GoFundMe with a £100k goal to file an appeal, with the goal passed in a day.
Now I know there's a reason you shouldn't blame others when you do something wrong, and that reason is: you might get caught and have to apologize to a bunch of dumb peasants.

You were sort of vague as to why you thought it was a bad law, I mean saying "for one reason or another" is rather ambiguous, is it not? I thought it'd be pretty unanimous that if we think it's a bad law that it's because people aren't free to say offensive things but maybe that's not the case. Since I am dense I would appreciate someone explaining how else it could be a bad law instead.CaptHayfever wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 4:58 pmI REALLY HATE POKEMON! wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 5:07 amOr go to jail?CaptHayfever wrote: ↑Sun Apr 22, 2018 7:16 pmPretty sure we're all in agreement, for one reason or another, that this is a bad law.

It's a bad law because it is very ambiguous and subjective. What is "offensive" could be different to anyone and isn't very laid out or clear in the way the law was written. And this case is a great example of its open-ended nature being exploited.

Also this is the best clip, I think, to come out of this that can illustrate the problem with the law.

When you go to jail for being offensive on the internet then it's probably time to start asking your lawyer where he got his degree from. Good thing he only got a fine.
