Not sure what to say here;

Im Keerzo, from the UK.

I love Video Games. I own and play most of the more mainstream consoles from mid 80s onward as well trying to keep up with the new PS, XBOX and Nintendo releases. I do a little bit of mobile gaming and I love RTS titles for the PC.

The most recent game ive played is Super Star Wars: Return of The Jedi for SNES. I got a boxed copy yesterday in my local retro video game store...which im still buzzing about!

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know everyone. :)

Hi there, welcome. How far did you get in Star Wars? It's a damn tough game, I never even beat the first stage actually.

Welcome! I'm more a turn-based strat guy myself but RTS games are still up my alley too. Most notably I play a lot of Mount & Blade: Warband.

Hi Keerzo. What was your favourite game last year? I liked 'Cuphead' a lot-----------it was hard, but fair.

welcome to our club.mpg

I like old school RTS games and other dead things in Microsoft's portfolio. Haven't seen much in the genre recently.
Now I know there's a reason you shouldn't blame others when you do something wrong, and that reason is: you might get caught and have to apologize to a bunch of dumb peasants.

Welcome to VGF!

The Super Star Wars games were great. I like just about any kind of video game, but lately most games I've been playing have been older ones.

The original Star Wars is much harder than RoJ imo. But yeah, still a very difficult game!

I was using cheats initially just to get a look at the game. Im going to go back to it over the weekend when Im feeling a little bit more masochistic

Ive saw videos of Mount & Blade but never played it. I like the more isometric viewed games (Dawn of War, Company of Heroes, Command & Conquer etc)...lose hours and hours playing those!

I haven't played Cuphead...I love the art style though. I've also heard it difficult but then Contra, Metal Slug, Snes Star Wars games are desperately difficult but that doesnt make them any less fun. Gotta love a good 2d side scoller!

Hi! Welcome. Thoughts on the more recent Ninty releases? =)
I could talk for hours...and probably upset a few people. Im not big fan tbh. I feel a lot of Nintendo IPs have become tired and overused. Metroid and StarFox for example, I feel need put to bed and new IPs created to take their place. I also feel that although I enjoy their innovation, it would be better for everyone if they focused on software rather than hardware. Charging extortionate prices for a console that will only ever have 1-15 top titles and almost no 3rd party support at all mean they only become viable towards the end of the generation.

I love Nintendo, dont get me wrong. Games like Mario 3D World and Yoshis woolly world are some of the best games ive played in the last 10 years.

Yeah its become quite stale tbh. Ive put so many hours into Dawn of War and CoH...id like something new and innovative but I feel like the genre peaked some time ago unfortunately.

I do agree about Star Fox, rebooting the series again with SFZ killed it for me and I'd rather it just be retired now (outside of remasters, of course). Metroid, however, still has a lot of strength left. Metroid Prime 4 could be very good.

I also agree about Nintendo going 3rd party, it would be in every gamer's best interest (with the exception of the handful of people who enjoy gimmicky hardware). Pokemon Duel is my most played Nintendo game in forever, and it isn't on a Nintendo system at all.

I don’t want to argue in your Welcome thread, so right now I’m just gonna say that I wholeheartedly disagree with your assessment of Nintendo, and we’ll probably talk about that elsewhere. :P

Welcome to VGF! Stick around a while.
