What part of your life would you want to relive?
I'd want to relive all four years of college. Those were the best, man. I'd also want to relive them to redo things. I regret being this stuck-up ass my first two years, and not taking some chances.

High School, for sure. 50% to re-live, 50% to re-do. Just a few things in that latter group, but enough to make a difference.

I'd like to relive the years before my mom died of cancer. I have a huge amount of regrets, and if I was given the chance to go back and do things differently I'd do it in a heartbeat.
On a happier note, I wouldn't mind reliving any of my meetups with other VGF members. Those have been some of the best days of my life.

I would like to re-live my childhood visits to France to see my grandparents. They both died before I became proficient in the language, so I was never able to connect with them in any meaningful way. The first time I went to France with a decent enough grasp of French to hold a conversation it was for their memorial, and I've always regretted that.
I would also like to re-live all of the personal trips I took when I was working my cushy corporate job. Ohio, Japan, Australia - those are some of my favorite memories. Seeing people I can't usually see and going places I can't usually go, and traveling across Japan on my own was stressful but also a fantastic experience I'm glad I underwent.

i think there's some stuff in high school that i'd definitely like to redo, especially my underclassmen years.
but if i had the option to redo stuff it'd be super weird because i'd be tempted to change some relationship stuff with the hindsight i have now which would drastically change things most likely

Nothing. I don't like the idea of rolling around in the past. I prefer to apply the wisdom of my experiences to my future, even if hindsight makes some of the decisions seem less than ideal. They were right at the time, for reasons which were applicable to me at that point of personal growth.

This is very touching. I would also want to relieve the years when my Grandpa was still alive. We lost him because of cancer too. Family is really a precious gift.Valigarmander wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 11:05 amI'd like to relive the years before my mom died of cancer. Some of those are very lovely quotes, judiciouskeck.
I try to live for the present... the past I cannot change, and the future might be all about choices. Hopefully, I make some awesome decisions from those choices!!

I wouldn't go back to change anything, but I'd love to see my babies (students) and friends in Korea. I'd even just want to be a fly on the wall watching me live it all again. I miss it so badly.
