Re: Gentleman's Challenge 4: SEO
I actually finished L.A. Noire the other day. I had the Complete Edition thingy so it came with the DLC cases.
Overall - I liked the story. . .I just kind of hate HOW it's told. You pick up these newspapers and they fill you in on what's going on behind the scenes. I don't really like that. I mean. I get we have to know eventually what's going on but I think for a detective story the narrative should follow the POV of the main character. The plot should unfold around them naturally and you find out in the moment like, "Oh snap! Double-crossed!" Instead of reading a newspaper and then being like "Oh. So that person is obviously evil now but the main character doesn't know it yet so. Huh. Okay." That's called dramatic irony instead but I don't find it to be natural dramatic irony. It's just the game literally saying "Hey read this thing so you know what's going on." Like I wonder how the story would feel if you chose not to read those newspapers. But since the game keeps track of you reading those newspapers I thought you'd get an achievement or unlock something at the end. No. The newspapers aren't hidden or difficult to find. They're just there for you to pick up at crucial moments. And sometimes there's literally no reason for a newspaper to be there. One time, you catch some crooks after a car crash. Right next to their bodies after you shoot them is a newspaper.
I don't know. I may be nitpicky and unable to fully explain how I feel about it but it just. . .idk. I found it stupid. Let's leave it at that.
I did manage to also get past the Xord fight in Xenoblade Chronicles. I'm suddenly breezing through it.

Re: Gentleman's Challenge 4: SEO
^ I think the game would've been better in a different genre. Something more like a point & click adventure or even a visual novel. Everything felt like a chore in a 3D environment for some reason.

Re: Gentleman's Challenge 4: SEO
It did actually. It's weird. I kind of liked it but didn't at the same time. Also, the first half or so of the game is about one thing and then the second half is about another. I thought the two would have something to do with each other but no. I was more interested in the creepy murdery parts, not the boring fraud conspiracy parts with complicated networks that made me zone out. Like seriously. If I stopped the game for a day and went back and had to interrogate someone I blanked out like "****, what was going on again? I totally forgot. Who's this person?" I thought the game would focus more on creepy murders and the like, not the other stuff.

My list is still here, and it still needs updating, but it's good enough for now. Be sure to pick good games for me, gang.

Re: Gentleman's Challenge 4: SEO
Okay.
- Castlevania 1,2, and 3- Time to prove I have the Castlevania skills! If I beat these I may move on to the other older Castlevania games.
- Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island- Might have some regrets. But who cares let's beat the big one!!
- Pokemon Brown- Been holding onto this one for a while. Might as well give it a shot!
- Double Dragon V- The Shadow Falls- Have to win with all characters for it to count. Yeah! Playing a bad game! YEAH!
- Mario Vs. Donkey Kong- A puzzle game I've never beaten. Mamma Mia!!
- Sky Blazer- Have an eyeball. Have an eyeball. Have another eyeball. Do you like eyeballs?
- Madden 96- I have to beat the season for this to count. Sports!
- Final Fight- Back away followed by two punches until I beat up a handcapped man, I guess. I'll play 2 as well if this one goes too fast.
- Legend of Zelda 1- Run around until I find a dungeon in this NES Classic!
- Eek! The Cat - It may be time to face my nightmares.

^Ooh, I love 'Misadventures of Tron Bonne'. It's so silly, and Tron Bonne is super lovable.

Re: Gentleman's Challenge 4: SEO
Oops, posting list now my friend.
Cave Story+ - Though I have played this numerous times on Steam, I now have the Switch version as well, hell yes.
Super Mario Odyssey - I forgot to ever beat this game. Think I'm still on the second world.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Got this but never got around to finishing it since I already 100%'d the Wii U version. Could be fun to do that again.
Pokémon Red Version - Bought this last year on my N3DSXL and never got around to playing it over Gold.
Super Smash Bros. for 3DS - Bought purely for the Mewtwo code if I remember correctly. Skipped over it completely, never even put it in my 3DS.
Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright - Borrowed from my girlfriend, been interested in getting into Fire Emblem, IN CASE MY AVATAR DIDN'T MAKE IT OBVIOUS.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds - Still need to do Hero Mode, got super lazy last time and gave up halfway through.
Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight - Got this from IAN a while ago, still really should get to actually playing it.
Shantae: Risky's Revenge - I do still have three other endings to attain. Knowing how short the game is, I could likely knock them all out.
Golden Axe - I only vaguely remember getting this on Steam.
