I wasn't feeling the Gentlemen's Challenge this round, but I was thinking about buying Golf Story for a trip I've got coming up. Whaddya say, @Dux is not you --I'll play Golf Story if you play Stardew Valley. We'll make our own challenge. With blackjack and hookers.

I mean sure, why not.

It's fantastic. I spent a LOT of time playing it last year.

I loved Stardew Valley and fully support this challenge.

Also, started Legend of Mana yesterday. Game seems chill. I guess I should set my challenge to All Diary Entries or something

Hey, this game's kinda fun. Can't play it much because it's going to consume all of my time if I do.

ME3 started today competing with 4 other games for my time, but then I got bored of the two rentals I had out and Danganronpa V3 pulled a first-chapter plot twist that was so stupid that I immediately quit. A mystery game can't come back from something like that, and it's hard to see how the series possibly could, either. It means ME3 will get just about the most favorable comparison possible, but it's really disheartening to see a series I had such high hopes for just a few years ago so thoroughly destroy itself in all of two games. Been a bad year for my returning favorites. :/

I am chugging along faster than I thought I would with Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins.

Knocked out another few quests with the help of Apprentice Squeege :D

I'm having fun with DOOM. On Hurt Me Plenty, it's tough but most of my deaths caused by me going into the wrong place or being overwhelmed. Just got to Stage 6, for the record.

Only thing that is a bother are the switches for the classic stages but even then they're not required for completion, per se.

I have two missions left in ME3, but it turns out that I didn't play the multiplayer enough in 2012 to have enough readiness points to get the best ending. Although the multiplayer is - shockingly - still online, there's obviously no one playing, and the difficulty doesn't adjust to account for solo play. As a result, it's almost certainly impossible to get past Wave 3, meaning the biggest bonus you can get from each mission is 1% for 10-15 minutes of work.

So instead I'm playing their stupid click-and-wait browser game, which probably won't get me where I need to be until Tuesday. Frustrating.

Still, the fact I'm willing to put up with this just to get a bonus scene that lasts less than a second says a lot about the rest of the game.

I've been away from the PS3, but now that I'm back I'll likely resume tonight.

All done. I ended up buying the Citadel DLC and deciding that, since I've already finished this game for real twice and the DLC's ending is exactly what I wanted for the series, I'm just going to pretend that it was. I was never as bothered by the real ending as a lot of people were, but I still didn't like it, and this is much better.

Anyway, chalk that up as another entry in the "as good as I remembered" category. Possibly even better than that, and it was already top ten.

^Glad to hear that you enjoyed ME3. I think that game gets an undeservedly bad rep.

Same. Not going to pretend I wasn't disappointed by the ending the first time I got through it (which was less than a week after release), but it's hard to stay upset at something that's that brilliant for 98% of its runtime.

Even easier to look past that now that I knew not to care about any of the Reaper plot and could focus completely on the good parts.

Done, surprisingly.

It's sort of a shame too, because it's really fun. I'd take no issue with playing to upgrade all the weapons I have but really all there is to doing that is another achievement and I have a lot of games to play so I must, with a heavy heart, shelve this one. Definitely a game worth playing, at least for the campaign.

I'm going at a much slower pace than I wanna be but it's because I want to take Apprentice Squeege on a tour of Geo so that he can be a butt. I also suspect I may need help with the Underworld campaign. And he's been real busy D:

So, here's what I'm thinking. I'm going to keep playing this game into next month's challenge, I should totally be done by the end of the next one. That also gives me a chance to play through UltraSun since that comes out next month.

That's that. How'd we all do?

Also, my list for next round is the same as last time.

Like I said I'm going to extend this one and also do Ultra Sun~

All Diary Entries is actually kinda hard since L'il Cactus can sometimes miss quests (and also he disappears) but I fully intend to complete the game that way because the entries are SO CUTE and he is the second best character after Diddle

Instead of beating my PS4 copy of DR I ended up starting SDR2 instead. About halfway through that, enjoying it so far! I will probably beat it sometime in the future.
