AUSTIN, Texas -- Lance Armstrong ended a decade of denial by confessing to Oprah Winfrey that he used performance-enhancing drugs to win the Tour de France, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press.
The admission Monday came hours after an emotional apology by Armstrong to the Livestrong charity that he founded and turned into a global institution on the strength of his celebrity as a cancer survivor.

Well, no doubt that what he did wasn't cool, but he still was at the top. Points for that.

As a piece I read recently stated, the legal and character attacks he lead against every person who told the truth mean he doesn't get to apologise and walk away from it. Can't hurt his situation, though.

The thing that really gets me about this is that he confessed on Oprah. Of COURSE she'd capitalize on something like this.
In case you can't tell, I really REALLY hate Oprah.
Do you know how much you mean to me
Why must you leave~?

As much as I think it's horrible what he did, I don't hate him or anything. Then again, I may just be sympathetic since he had cancer.
