laffo I tried to jump to a platform with I assume a Soul item and I instead dropped to my death, my favorite part being that I "landed" and didn't lose HP, but kept going and well down into the swamp under Blighttown and now I'm at Firelink missing 3 liquid humanity and 11k souls
unironically I love this game, I'm done playing for a little bit but I'm ready to jump in and be stupid and reckless to get my crap back PROBABLY IN A FEW HOURS
Currently playing Dungeon Defenders 2, really exited for the Void Lord release next patch and League of Legends. I will get on Skyrim and Fallout every now and then too. Just got done playing through the first Bioshock for the 100th time it seems like, I was bored and figured i would play through them again because i really do enjoy them.
I liked the first Dungeon Defenders, but the second one didn't really catch me. Not sure why.
Been feeling like replaying the Bioshock games again lately. I cooled on Infinite quite a bit since finishing Burial At Sea and experiencing the trilogy-destroying plot hole therein, but that doesn't take away from the atmosphere of any of them. Irrational really nailed that.
I always just hit them to death. They don't take much damage but they don't have much HP. IIRC their only attack is pretty telegraphed too.
Yeah, but that's the problem. There's no chance of them doing any damage, but they take forever to die. They're just tedious.

I actually liked Infinite a lot more than the other two while playing it, but it didn't have anything like the "I chose Rapture" speech or "Would you kindly?" to hold it there long-term. It plays better than the others and has a more consistent quality level, but the highs don't compare to the original. Pretty much balances out to even for me. Burial At Sea would put it way in front if not for that ending, though.
In other news, Gaping Dragon has the lowest threat/scary ratio of any boss ever. I figured I was utterly screwed going in with two Estus Flasks when I saw it, and then it spent ten minutes alternately face planting the floor and the wall. The dust it throws around really did a number on the FPS, though. Not the most optimized game.

You'd have to like the twitchy SHMUP style it offers. Gotta avoid tons of bullets to be any good at the game.
I watched Jenocide play To Be or Not To Be via Steam's Streaming thing. It's surprisingly fleshed out though it is a "Choose your own adventure book" like game. Plus, there's art from the author for Hark, A Vagrant. It almost feels like she wrote it too.

It's much more bullet hell than Binding of Isaac, but I'd say you don't need as much luck and more about positioning and conserving ammo since so far what I've seen the only ammo-less weapons are melee (which isn't a bad second weapon choice)
the characters are pretty unique with their traits, too, so that's a bonus

I am currently playing Fallout 4 Kaufen and Pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows. Both are amazing! The worst was Hatred. Relishing in extreme violence for the hell of it, the game asks you to entertain the idea of killing massive amounts of people in the name of ... what? Fun? Because there's not much of that to be had here!
