It has a credits theme. And a few Engrish-filled rock songs that play throughout the episodes.

So the drugs didn't make FLCL better MeowMan? That's honestly kind of surprising... I also lied about what I was watching first, since I started watching Watamote and Madoka Magica. All I have to say about the former is that I love Tomoko, and for the latter I love Homura. And both shows are great.
I can't say for certain whether or not they made it better, since I've never seen it without them. Also, I've not finished Madoka yet, but I felt like watching a comedy last night, so FLCL it was.

So I just finished PMMM. Pretty amazing. A lot happens in such a short series. Now I just need to watch the films.

I'm probably going to watch one of the other animes you recommended next because Watamote has so many painfully cringy situations that I can't binge-watch it. I love tomoko but it's hard to watch sometimes.

BTW, Pix, I don't know if you watch subs or dubs, but I only watch subs and have no idea which of the anime I've recommended even have dubs or the quality of them.

FLCL isn't an acronym of anything if it helps, it's the name of the series

I actually started watching PMMM recently. I'm a bad weeb who watches dubs as long as they're not awful though.

I still find it hard to beleive FLCL is getting not one, but two new seasons, and they both airing in the same year.

^I go dubs whenever possible, unless they are awful as well.

The only exception to dub > sub is Attack on Titan. They just couldn't match the quality of the actors that time for some reason.

I'm a little nervous (?) about the new seasons of FLCL. Feels like they can't be as good as the original. Whether that's based on their actual quality or the admittedly overhyped status I've been building in my brain for the original since I was a young teen, I can't say. I hope they're good.

I should clarify that I'm not opposed to subs. In fact, I watch a lot of shows subbed now because I'm keeping up with the simulcasts.

I'm not picky when it comes to subs or dubs. There's a few series I think have really great dubs though (Cowboy Bebop springs to mind), or that I prefer dubbed simply because it's what I grew up with and am familiar with (Dragon Ball doesn't feel right without Sean Schemmel screaming).

FLCL was a huge part of my early adolescence. I think it was the first really good anime I had ever watched, whereas everything before had been kind of schlocky (again, Dragon Ball). I actually went through the trouble of recording all six episodes off of Adult Swim. The tape might still be somewhere at my dad's place.
