Now that we're the hottest site on the internet, let's make it a great round for our fans. I'm sure they'll be impressed by more forethought in posting a new thread to pick games based on lists in the old thread. We're so good at this that we have to handicap ourselves by wasting precious playing time switching between threads.

Tazy -> RU -> Me -> Scotty -> Tazy

With room for @Booyakasha or anyone else that wants to join and didn't make the last thread.

How about Kirby's Dream Collection, Scotty?

Very cool.

Random User! I challenge you to a full playthrough of Cave Story+ Hard Mode!

I can't imagine how bad that's going to be, but you did have it as a choice, so that's your fault really.

I'm going to play on both the normal and hardest mode because I remember someone saying that it's a very easy game otherwise. Might try to beat the challenges as well.

Liking it so far at the very least.

@I am nobody , I didn't notice until now that you said to play Kirby's Dream Collection, which is really weird because yesterday I went ahead and played some of Kirby's Dream Collection. Turns out that the only game I did finish on it was Kirby's Dream Land. I guess I got confused since I also own Kirby Super Stars and Kirby 64, so I thought I finished them on here too. I got warped into it and played through Kirby's Adventure. I can feel it now. *cracks knuckles* I got this. I can do this! I'm in the zone baby!

Transistor turns out to have made the truly bizarre decision to neither let you start a fresh new game nor show the tutorials again in NG+. I don't want to manually wipe the file, so I've been stuck playing a game I haven't touched with everything unlocked and it assuming I still remember how to use it all. It's thankfully not a complicated enough game for this to be a real problem, but I don't understand why they did it.

I keep thinking the deadline is closer than it is.

I just finished Kirby's Dream Collection.

I mean, I guess there's a few extras I can fetch.

My breakdown of the Kirby games

Kirby's Dream Land - I own the original too on Game Boy. Basic. Really basic. Not a strong debut but a debut nonetheless.

Kirby's Adventure - So I've played the remake on GBA but not the original version. I'm honestly surprised this game was on the NES. There's so much crammed into it for an NES game. Wonderful game. Classic.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Son of a--this game was a bit harder than I expected, especially getting some of those rainbow drops without losing your power/pet friend

Kirby Super Star - Oh my. One of my favorite games of all time. I've beaten this game so many times and never got tired of it. I rented it back in the day and finished it - 100%. I then played it on an emulator - 100%. No surprise here that I went for 100% too. I even have the remake - Kirby Super Star Ultra - and I also finished that 100%

Kirby's Dream Land 3 - The other Kirby game that I never actually played. I might have rented it way back in the day because some things I vaguely recall. EVERYTHING IS SO CUTE. SO. GODDAMN. CUTE. In the initial stages I thought they made this a baby-game since it felt too easy and you got an extra life every other five minutes. But there's lots more to this game especially with the secrets.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards - I haven't played this in so long. It was a lot easier than I recall.

I made it maybe 25 minutes into Transistor. Some of that is definitely down to the forced NG+ wrecking the progression, but the combat is pretty boring and the environmental storytelling wasn't what I remembered.

It feels really weird to bounce that hard off a game I'd previously called a masterpiece, nevermind one from a studio whose other games I still love, but I haven't been able to motivate myself to go back to it even though most of what I've been playing instead isn't even very good.

I finished Deadpool.

It's a mindless game with a bunch of funny stuff in it. You either like it or you don't but for me it was a fun time for most of it.

I'm at the endgame boss rush in Cave Story+ but decided not to pick up the only health boost you get so I could nab the three-heart win achievement on Steam too. Maybe that was a mistake.

My situation at home is a bit in flux, so I'm not sure if I'll have time.

So yes, I'm sitting out this round.
