Fortnite: Battle Royale

#1

Post by BladeMan.EXE » Tue May 22, 2018 8:21 pm

I have the internet to play it at times, but the lag does sometimes force me from an offensive or defensive playstyle to a wander around and hope no one finds me playstyle.

Or maybe I'm just a noob. But it still likes to freeze up when I'm trying to fight.

Don't have any interest in it myself, but it's pretty impressive that they managed to turn the game's fortunes around so dramatically.

My 7th and 8th graders are obsessed with Fortnite. I’ve played one round. Got 15th. It was fun.

Don’t really have the capability to play it myself, though.

I've thought about playing it. I have a lot of friends who are into it.

I'm not into this sort of thing, so I'll let it be.

Not interested in the style of game (or the style of gamers it attracts) but it seems to me that if you are into it, Fortnite is a good one to play.

I've watched a few streams of Fortnite (personally I prefer PUBG), though I've never played a battle royale game myself. Always cool to see a new genre take off and become really popular.

I've never played it and personally couldn't care less about it, but the amount of people I see hating on it just because it exists and is popular irks me.

I spawned and got killed almost immediately. Tried a couple more times and it just didn't really appeal to me. It looked like it had that Team Fortress vibe which got me interested. I didn't even play Overwatch though. I think the days of my blood boiling and hearing some 10 years old tell me he banged my mom is over.

You are correct. I guess it's Generation Y? I should have thought

You're probably one of those teachers that can relate well to his students. Eskketit.

Crazy kids playing Fortnite instead of doing their assignments lol.

I prefer PUBG too, but also want to try Fortnite Battle Royale. Can anyone tell me how to download it on PC?

i somehow have like 20 hours in fortnite already despite not even really enjoying it all that much. i guess im just desperate for the kind of game you can play while listening to podcasts.

i just try to land somewhere far away from where i think everyone will be so i can farm weapons in peace, then sneak my way back to the center of the map. it works ok most of the time until im forced to actually fight someone at which point i always lose.

^Drop into Tilted Towers for like 20 games straight to get better at firefights. Throw yourself to the wolves. Trial by fire. It really helps.
